Privacy center

You control your documents.

ReckonClaims is designed to minimize sensitive data we store. In Phase 1 your documents never leave your browser. You can delete uploaded documents and case records at any time.

Privacy mode

Local-only (default)

Documents are processed entirely in your browser. Cases live in IndexedDB. Nothing leaves your device.

Hybrid

Phase 2+

Raw documents stay local. Only redacted structured fields go to an LLM analyzer, after an explicit warning.

Cloud

Phase 2+

Encrypted-at-rest object storage, signed URLs, audit logs. Required for cross-device sync and human advocate review.

AI processing disclosure

  • Phase 1 (now): All extraction, classification, and analysis run on your device. No LLM calls are made.
  • Phase 2 (planned): Optional LLM analysis with a BAA-eligible provider. Only redacted structured fields are sent. You can preview exactly what would be sent before opting in.
  • Human review (Phase 3): Off by default. Opt-in per case. Reviewers see only what you explicitly share.

Your data, your rules

Export

Download a JSON copy of all your cases, extractions, analyses, letters, and deadlines. (Files themselves are not included, they live in your browser's IndexedDB.)

Delete documents

Remove all uploaded files and extraction text from your browser. Cases, letters, and deadlines remain.

Reset everything

Drop the entire ReckonClaims database from this browser. Cases, documents, extractions, analyses, letters, deadlines, all gone.

Clear chat history

Remove every chat thread and message from this browser. Your cases and documents stay where they are.

Re-open the tour

Replay the 7-step intro to ReckonClaims. The tour is also accessible by adding ?tour=1 to any URL.

Account deletion

In Phase 1 there is no server account to delete. When cloud mode launches, this will hard-delete your cloud copies and any audit log content that contains sensitive data.
