ReckonClaims is consumer software that helps you understand medical bills and insurance denials. It is not a law firm, healthcare provider, insurer, billing company, or coding service. Outputs are educational drafts. For decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional.
Terms of use
Account, billing, and acceptable use.
How accounts work, what your subscription covers, refund window, and the limits of liability.
Privacy center
Your control over your data.
Cookies, cache, IndexedDB. JSON export, delete documents, clear chats, reset everything. The settings page.
Disclaimers
Read these before relying on anything ReckonClaims produces.
- Not legal advice. ReckonClaims helps you organize a written response. It does not represent you, advise you on a lawsuit, or interpret your plan as a lawyer would.
- Not medical advice. We do not diagnose, prognose, or recommend treatments. For medical questions ask a clinician.
- Not final coding or billing advice. Codes we display come from your documents or from public reference tables. We do not assign codes for production submission.
- Not tax advice. Medical-expense deductions vary by jurisdiction.
- Outcomes are not guaranteed. Insurer decisions depend on facts only the insurer sees.
- Verify deadlines. Estimates come from published consumer-protection rules. The deadline that controls is the one on your denial letter.
Your rights
What you can ask us to do with your data.
- Export everything as JSON from the Privacy center.
- Delete uploaded documents from this device at any time.
- Reset the entire app on this device (wipes all browser data).
- Clear your chat history without touching cases.
- Sign out of your account at any time. Sign-in is optional.
- Delete your account, which cancels active subscriptions and removes your server-side profile.
Third-party services
Who we work with.
- Stripe processes subscription payments. We do not store card details.
- Firebase (Google) handles optional account sign-in and stores non-PHI profile data.
- An AI provider is used by the chat assistant, translation, and transcription endpoints when those features are enabled.
- Vercel hosts the application.
None of these vendors sees your medical documents in Phase 1. Phase 2 cloud sync, when launched, is opt-in per case with explicit consent.
